NES Availability Letter
As many of you are painfully aware, the Nintendo Entertainment System has yet to launch nationwide, leaving most of the country in the dark regarding when it will be made available. We’d guess that the majority of people in the U.S. don’t even know what the NES is yet, especially since Nintendo has only officially released the console in two territories. Once the nationwide rollout is complete later this fall we expect Nintendo to begin its national advertising campaign.
One person wrote into to Nintendo asking where he could purchase the NES in his area. Unfortunately it has yet to ship in Wisconsin, but Nintendo does give a solution: order one from F.A.O. Schwarz. The images below show off the letter that Robert Dahl received directly from Nintendo, including a free poster and details of the Game Paks currently available and soon to be released.
