Updated Reviews With Second Acts

As of right now the landscape for video game reviews is pretty dire. All of the video game magazines have folded with the recent gaming collapse, but we’re hopeful that some will spring up if video games begin to catch on again. If this happens, we’ll try and add their opinions at the bottom of our reviews to give you comparison information to make better decisions.

Right now the only other publication in circulation that is regularly reviewing games is Computer Entertainer. It’s a small newsletter/mini-magazine and they recently began reviewing many of the NES games. As such, we’ve obtained scans of their reviews and have added them to the bottom of ours. Right now you can see what they thought of: Pinball, Ice Climber, and Kung Fu. Just scroll to the bottom of our reviews to see their takes. Going forward, we will continue to post their reviews and scores with our own.
