Computer & Video Games Talks NES, SMS & 7800
The October issue of Computer & Video Games has just arrived in the U.K. and although the magazine primarily covers the computer gaming side of things, they seem to be excited by the sudden interest in home consoles again. At this point only the Atari 7800 is officially announced as launching in Europe, and it should be on store shelves by Christmas. Both Sega and Nintendo seem interested in launching their machines across the Atlantic, but seem focused on establishing a foothold in the U.S. first before branching out to other territories.
The article seems extremely excited about the Sega Master System. This is mostly due to its specs and its ability to have large amounts of memory on a cartridge. Let’s hope the gamers in Europe don’t have to wait too much longer to enjoy the same options we have this holiday.
