Nintendo’s Impact On Children Make Parents Wary
First it was comic books that was rotting the minds of American boys. Then it was rock and roll that was turning the youth against their parents. Violence on TV and in cartoons have been under attack since the dawn of time. The latest target? Nintendo. Some parents believe that kids that spend too much time playing video games show distinct changes in their moods and behaviors. While we don’t think playing games will inherently harm or alter your child psychologically, most things in life should be done in moderation.
Video games have added benefits of helping kids understand complex puzzle solving, hand-eye coordination, and the value of winning versus losing. Certainly the kids below are excited to get their new NES! Disregard the one boy that puts the Zapper in his mouth and pulls the trigger…
