National StreetPass Weekend Starts Thursday

It’s that time again! Take your 3DS or 2DS out and about with you during this extended Thanksgiving weekend to collect more puzzle pieces and play more games via StreetPass. From November 26 through November 29, if you visit one of the over 29,000 Nintendo Zone locations, you will receive Miis from all over the nation.

To sweeten the deal, Animal Crossing: Home Designer players could find Felyne, a character inspired from the Monster Hunter series. Also, for all of the Pokémon players out there, from November 27 through December 23 if you bring your handheld into McDonald’s and connect to Nintendo Zone you’ll be able to snag Mythical Hoopa, compatible with Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.

So, don’t forget your 3DS when travelling this busy holiday weekend. You’re bound to get more StreetPasses than normal. Nintendo PR:

After you fill up on Turkey, be sure to load up on StreetPass tags during the Thanksgiving National StreetPass Weekend, November 26 – November 29.

Stop by any of the more than 29,000 Nintendo Zone hotspots with your Nintendo 3DSsystem to get up to six StreetPass tags from across North America.

If you’re playing Animal Crossing™: Happy Home Designer, you might even run into Felyne, a special character inspired by the Monster Hunter™ series.

It’s also a great time to get StreetPass content for hot new 3DS games like YO-KAI WATCH™or experience the multiplayer fun of The Legend of Zelda™: Tri Force Heroes.

That’s not all—fans in the United States will be able to receive the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa for their Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire video games by bringing their game and Nintendo 3DS family system to participating McDonald’s locations and connecting to Nintendo Zone.
