Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens – New Adventures Await Trailer
Not satisfied with simply rehashing The Force Awakens movie into Lego video game form, the developers have decided to flesh out the story with some new levels featuring characters from the movie. If you’ve seen the feature film you’ll recall Han and Chewie transporting the deadly Rathtar creatures. In the game you’ll get to experience what it’s like to hunt them down.
In addition to the expected levels from the movie, you will be able to play through six new chapters that add originality into the game. The story is fully canon and has been approved by Lucasfilm so the game actually augments the film in ways that previous Lego games haven’t done. Due to these new scenes the original actors came back and recorded new lines that will appear in the game.
Enough explanation, though! Simply watch the new two-minute trailer for yourself to see how the game is shaping up. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available on Wii U and 3DS on June 28, 2016.
