Zelda 30th Anniversary amiibos Announced
Thirty years ago, The Legend of Zelda released on the Famicom Disk System in Japan. We were supposed to get Breath of the Wild this year to help celebrate that anniversary, but alas, delays happen. Gamers will be able to play the first two NES Zelda games on November 11, 2016 via the NES Classic Edition.
In addition, four classic Zelda amiibos are going to be released on December 2, 2016, just in time for the holidays. They include 8-bit Link, Ocarina of Time Link, Toon Link, and Zelda from The Wind Waker. Each amiibo will act the same as the same existing character amiibos that are already out. They will also be used in the upcoming Breath of the Wild game releasing for Wii U and NX in 2017.
Also, for those that may have missed the announcement, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has been released on the Wii U eShop for $19.99. This is a great price for a spectacular game. Just keep in mind it requires a Wii Remote Plus to play.
