Toys R Us Black Friday Ad
It’s a rather sad year for Nintendo Black Friday software deals. Every national chain (including Toys R Us) will of course carry the awesome New 3DS system deal for $99.99, but there’s a surprising lack of software price cuts. I figured since this was the final year of the Wii U that we might see some huge savings on games like Xenoblade Chronicles X or maybe even the recently released Paper Mario: Color Splash.
Toys R Us will have a couple of games on sale for the Wii U. Both Minecraft and Tumblestone are going to be $10 off the normal retail price. Super Mario Maker and Just Dance 2017 will be $20 off. Overall, the deals at Toys R Us are pretty mediocre, no matter which gaming system you own. There are much better values to be found at Target, Best Buy, and Walmart.
If you are into the toys to life category, you’re in for some savings. Lego Dimensions will be $29.99 to $39.99 depending on your system. Plus, a lot of the figures are deeply discounted for Disney Infinity, Skylanders, and Lego.
