More Pokémon Will Be Announced For Pokémon Go On December 12

Pokémon Go has been a cultural phenomenon and it continues to keep players engaged six months after launch. Of course, to truly captivate the public, a free to play game has to continuously provide new play mechanics and/or content, and that’s precisely what’s on the docket for Pokémon Go.

On December 12, Niantic will make an announcement that will detail the first big update that will include more Pokémon in Pokémon Go. Rumors have been swirling that we’ll be moving on to Generation 2, but until the official word comes, it’s all just speculation.

In addition, Sprint has partnered with Pokémon Go. This means that over 10,500 locations around the U.S. will become PokéStops and Gyms. The locations will feature in-store charging stations to keep your sessions going even longer. Train on!
