Pre-Orders Begin For Nintendo Switch At Nintendo NY Store On Jan. 13
We have our first confirmation of a U.S. retailer taking pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch this Friday! Of course, it’s Nintendo’s official storefront in New York. If you’re lucky enough to live out there and want to try and secure a Nintendo Switch reserve, they will begin ringing people up at 9 a.m. ET. They mentioned that it will be a limited quantity and it’s only while supplies last.
For the rest of us, we are still hearing that GameStop will most likely begin the pre-order process on Friday morning as well, with a limited number available per store. You may want to get there early if you’re serious about getting your system reserved.
While we don’t know any concrete information, we suspect that as soon as Nintendo’s live Switch Event concludes tomorrow night that some online retailers may turn the pre-orders on. You’ll want to keep an eye on Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop.com to see if that happens. Good luck to everyone!
