New Pictures Of Nintendo Switch Game Cases

The thirst for Nintendo Switch news is real! We know, because we’re thirsty all of the time. Today we finally get a good look at the Nintendo Switch game cases from Japan. Gaijinhunter on Twitter, which many of you may recognize from his YouTube channel and his love for all things Monster Hunter, was gracious enough to take time out of his day and travel to Bic Camera, a huge electronic store in Japan. He not only snapped pictures of the front of the game cases, but also the inside and back.

Many of the cases feature inner liners with graphics that can be seen through the clear plastic case. This is more commonly seen in Japan, whereas in the U.S. Nintendo sometimes skimps on special features like this. Indeed, when watching the Nintendo Treehouse Live, one of the guys opens the Zelda case and there aren’t any graphics inside the case. Granted, this could be due to the case not being finalized, but it could also point to a generic white liner as well. We will have to wait and see.

Nintendo Switch VS PSP Case Size

As you can see, the Nintendo Switch cases are is slightly shorter and thinner than the PSP cases. According to Gaijinhunter, the plastic of the Switch cases feels slightly softer than the hard PSP ones. Hopefully we’ll get some official cases in North America soon. While we wait for this to happen, we’ll speak for Gaijinhunter and tell all of you, “Go play some Monster Hunter”.
