Nintendo Switch Pre-Order Interest Goes Up Thanks To Super Bowl Ad

A few days ago we posted a graph that showed the Google Trend historical data for the search terms “Pre Order Switch” when compared with other systems during their announcement and release times. The Switch compared favorably to the PS4 and Xbox One, and absolutely eclipsed the Wii U. Basically, it shows that there is more interest in the Switch than the Wii U had.

Now that the Nintendo Switch Super Bowl ad aired on Sunday, the number of searches to pre-order the Nintendo Switch is once again on the rise. Dystify, from Twitter, had updated the graph to show this bump in interest. Time will tell if this translates into hard sales or not.
