Nintendo Switch Parental Controls App Now Up

Nintendo is handling parental controls through an app that you can download to your phone or smart device. Ahead of the Nintendo Switch launch, the app is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It’s completely free to download and you will need a Nintendo Account to login. There’s not much else you can do at the moment without a Switch. Here’s as far as we could get:

Once we get our own Nintendo Switch, we will be able to link it up to the parental controls app. This might be worth enabling even if you’re the only one planning on using the new console. That’s because the app is able to track how much time you played each game. This is similar to the activity tracker on the 3DS and Wii U, but it looks like Nintendo has integrated that into this app. For more on what the app can do, visit Nintendo’s parental controls page for the Switch.

We only have 24 hours left until the Nintendo Switch is available (central U.S. time)! Zelda is finally upon us.
