VIDEO: Nintendo Switch UI: News & eShop

Nintendo is definitely taking the minimalistic approach to its user interface (UI) on the Switch. It looks sleek and fast, which a nice change from the slow and clunky operating system of the Wii U. If you own a 3DS or Wii U and have gotten notifications from Nintendo in the past, you’ll know that it takes forever for the program to load so you can read the message. It looks vastly improved with the Switch!

The eShop also looks fast to browse. 3DS in particular has always been a bit slow. I must admit I really like the Wii U eShop and the music that plays in the background. It remains to be seen (heard) if there’s any catchy music this time around.

Only two more days until the Nintendo Switch launches! We’re almost there.
