Switch Internet Problems? You May Need To Power Cycle
Some Switch owners have had issues connecting to the Internet today, whether to play Splatoon 2 Testfire or simply to browse on the eShop. You may get an Error Code 2618-0201 or something similar when attempting to do so. This happened to us today, and luckily it’s a simple fix.
All you need to do is hold the Power Button on the Switch for a few seconds and a screen will pop up. Select Power Off and let it shut down. Then simply power back on and everything should be good to go. We’re not entirely sure why this issue has popped up this week, but it might have had something to do on Nintendo’s servers being worked on earlier in the week.
As with many technology items these days, when in doubt, reboot!
