Super Bomberman R Will Receive Free DLC
Great news for everyone who has purchased Super Bomberman R! Konami has revealed that extra stages and characters will be coming to the Nintendo Switch game via free DLC sometime in the future. A very short teaser trailer was shown during a live stream with some of The Game Theorist cast. The 15 second segment begins at the 51:08 mark:
Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for these new additions. It’s great to see the developers supporting the game after launch and creating new content for free. The game has sold very well in Japan. We might get some insight into North American sales numbers in mid-April.
Although it’s not the best Bomberman game ever made, it’s still a fantastic multiplayer experience on the Switch. Getting eight friends together on a couch to play is glorious. Our full review is here, and we’ll keep you up to date on further details regarding the upcoming DLC.
