SwitchCharge Extends Battery Life & Offers New Kickstand Solution

It’s no secret that the Nintendo Switch can drain its battery rather quickly when playing graphically intensive games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. InDemand Design is creating a custom-made battery solution for the Nintendo Switch that adds over twelve hours to the basic battery and offers a more durable kickstand in the process.

This new project, called SwitchCharge is currently available for donations on Indiegogo. The first 500 people to pledge in the early bird section can get one for $75 plus shipping. Estimated delivery is August 2017.

The SwitchCharge is a battery case specifically designed for the Switch. It has a high capacity 12,000 mAh battery, an improved kickstand, and 2 Game Card slots to hold extra games with you while on the go. Since this is a case, it also offers extra protection to the system itself and it’s easily put on or taken off. No more need for cumbersome wires or external brick batteries.

For the funding campaign to be a success, $80,000 must be pledged by the deadline (3o days from now). The product looks sleek and should be perfect for those who travel a lot.
