Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux Preview

Originally released for the Nintendo DS back in 2010, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux is a 3DS remake with enhanced graphics, new story content, additional endings, and a new dungeon to explore. Like the original, a spatial distortion force full of demons has appeared in Antarctica, so the U.N. has sent a team of highly advanced specialists to the area to prevent the demons from taking over the entire world.

In addition to brand-new illustrations, updated visuals, and user interface improvements, gamers will find an entirely new adventure path waiting for them to explore. A new character named Alex will alter how the story unfolds and she will be adding some spice to the action. Demons from other SMT games have infiltrated this one and there’s plenty of dungeons to explore and try to survive.

The game will feature the usual Shin Megami gameplay mechanics. You’ll have to collect demons to help you on your quest. This one has more of a sci-fi bend to it and fans of the series are sure to find something to like here. The game arrives in early spring 2018.
