ARMS Has Updated With LAN Play & Arena Mode

ARMS has been updated to version 1.1.0 and has some new options for those wanting to play with others locally. Of course more updates will come down the line, but it’s great to see additional support for the game so soon.

When you’re playing against others in the same room you can now select the LAN play option by holding the left stick in and hitting L and R on the main menu. This will only work if all Switch systems are connected to the same Wi-Fi hotspot. What this does is allow for a more stable connection and is perfect for running tournaments.

The Arena Mode is basically a spectator mode when playing locally. Up to four players can fight each other, in one-on-one matches. Only two fight at a time while the others watch in spectator mode. The viewpoint can be changed as well.
