Manta Maria Stage Comes To Splatoon 2 On August 26
At Gamescom Nintendo made some Splatoon 2 announcements. There’s more free content coming over the next few days.
August 22
Lost Outpost stage for Salmon Run arrives in local multiplayer mode. This new course will also appear online in Salmon Run as part of a randomly rotating stage.
August 26
Manta Maria stage is released. This has you battling it out for turf on an actual ship, and it looks like a great time!
September 1
Bubble Blower weapon is added to the game. You literally wave a wand to create big bubbles that have offensive and defensive capabilities. This could be a game changer!
In Splatoon 2 news, Nintendo detailed new free content coming to the game soon: Manta Maria joins the lineup of Turf War* and Ranked Battle stages this weekend, while the new Lost Outpost stage joins the rotation of Salmon Run stages later today. Both stages will also become available in The Shoal for local multiplayer matches. Also announced was that the Bubble Blower special weapon will be available first in a set with the Forge Splattershot Pro starting Sept. 1.
