VIDEO: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Gamescom Demo
I’ve been patiently waiting for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 to release on the Nintendo Switch ever since it was revealed that it’s in the works. Each time I see more on it, I get more excited.
This game looks absolutely gigantic, but the one thing that remained a bit puzzling was the new combat system. Fans of the prior two games will notice that the battle bar along the bottom of the screen has disappeared. Monolith Soft has replaced it with a much easier and more intuitive combat UI so that commands are at a simple press of a button.
Watch the extended gameplay session from the folks at Nintendo of Europe as they do a wonderful job of explaining the combat system and how everything works. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they can get this one out this year!
