Super NES Classic Nintendo Power Posters
As a kid growing up during the NES and SNES era I absolutely adored Nintendo Power magazine. I’d read each issue cover to cover multiple times. With the Super NES Classic Edition launching on September 29, Nintendo has recreated some classic Nintendo Power covers featuring three of the games that will be included. You can take a look at each of them below, but if you’re attending PAX West you have a chance to get these in poster form at the panel. Talk about a cool collector’s item!
These covers, although glorious, aren’t the actual ones used for the magazine. Although Nintendo Power did put Super Mario World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on its covers, they were completely different. Of course Nintendo Power never featured Star Fox 2 on the cover, since it ended up being cancelled. It did, however, have the original game on the cover:
