Target & Shopko Black Friday Video Game Deals
It’s that time of the year again! Black Friday is almost here and video game deals will be part of the yearly tradition. Both Target and Shopko have revealed their Black Friday ads, and while there are some fantastic sales on PS4 and Xbox One hardware, there isn’t as much to get excited about on the Nintendo side of things.
Probably the best Nintendo 3DS & 2DS deals worth noting are at Shopko. They will have Pokémon Sun & Moon for only $9.99 as a Doorbuster and of special note is the New Super Mario Bros. 2 Nintendo 2DS bundle, which comes with that game plus you get to pick another free game – one of which is the amazing Metroid: Samus Returns! That game retails for $40 on its own so this is a great value. For many of our readers, they biggest trouble may be locating a Shopko, since they’re mainly located in the upper midwest. Still, you might be able to snag some offers off their site.
Target does feature a few Nintendo Switch games on sale, including Lego Worlds for $15, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for $25, and Super Bomberman R for $35. The lack of great Switch deals is a bit of a disappointment, but also was sort of expected given how well it’s been selling.
