Wizard Of Legend Announced For Nintendo Switch

I really love the resurgence of pixel art in video games. Wizard of Legend has some amazing looking visuals that really tug at the nostalgia heartstrings. This upcoming two player co-op action/adventure game puts a focus on dynamic magical combat. In fact, the game will have over 100 unique elemental spells to discover and it will be up to you to unlock your full potential by trying different combinations to unleash devastating attacks on  your enemies.

The game itself takes place with a top-down 2D graphical presentation with colors straight out of a Super NES game. The action is way more fast-paced than any 16-bit classic we’ve seen and you’ll have a wide set of moves at your disposal. The adventure will feature procedurally generated levels – but wait – don’t stop reading just yet. If you’re like me you might not be a huge fan of games that randomize levels, but what’s different here is that some rooms are random and others are hand crafted. So it will hopefully have a nice mix to keep things fresh on multiple plays.

I’m really looking forward to playing this one. The art look great, the action seems fierce, and it’s got co-op built in – perfect for the Switch! Early 2018 is the release window at the moment.
