Disgaea 5 Complete Sells Over 200,000; New IP and Sequels Heading To Switch
Disgaea 5 Complete has sold pretty well on the Nintendo Switch with 200,000 copies now in users’ hands. The strategy/RPG was the first of its kind to arrive on the Switch during its first few months on the market.
The president of Nippon Ichi is pleased with its performance and teases that more is coming to the Switch. Not only are sequels in development, but new IP as well. We don’t have details on what these games will be at the moment.
But, we might get a clue next month when NIS America holds a press event. Perhaps we’ll hear of some new localizations or other announcements when the show takes place on February 9. For comparison, last year they showed off Culdcept Revolt and RPG Maker FES for the first time, so new game announcements could be forthcoming.
