Nintendo Direct Mini Today With Dark Souls Remastered Announcement

Here we go again! So, after all of the hype and speculation, it appears that maybe, just maybe, today could be the day we see the mythical Nintendo Direct. Typically Nintendo announces these things a couple of days in advance, but people in the know keep insisting that Nintendo will drop one today. So, I guess it’s put up or shut up time for the insiders, right?

Well, Laura Kate Dale via Kotaku is reporting that not only will a Nintendo Direct “Mini” be airing today, but that it will show off a Dark Souls remaster for the Switch. In fact, the title is supposed to be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One as well, and in fact someone in the wild has seen it show up as a pre-order in Japan already – so there may be some truth to this one.

Indeed, you may recall that we reported on the rumor that all three Dark Souls games would come out as a trilogy pack on the Switch a long time ago. It now appears that they will arrive separately, if this rumor pans out. Dark Souls Remastered is on track to come out in May according to the rumor.

The good news is we won’t have to wait much longer to see if this is true or not. Time to start chugging some coffee and refreshing Twitter like mad!
