Containment Chambers Promise To Spice Up This Week’s Splatfest

As longtime Splatoon 2 players will already know, each time there’s a new Splatfest the Shifty Station stage changes. This time around there will be containment chambers that will drop down from the ceiling after a specific amount of time has passed. This means that whatever color the floor is when these drop will remain that color at the end of the match. We imagine the battles will be hot and fierce around these special areas.

Just in! Details on the Shifty Station layout for this weekend’s Splatfest. Containment chambers will drop down after a certain time and seclude part of the stage. It appears you cannot ink the secluded area from the outside, leading us to believe that whichever team gets access to the containment areas as they close down will gain the edge in turf coverage.
