You’ll Have To Hang On A Little Longer! Dark Souls: Remastered Delayed
In an unfortunate move, Bandai Namco has decided to delay Dark Souls: Remastered for the Nintendo Switch. It was originally planned to release in just over a month, on May 25. Both the game and the Solaire amiibo have been pushed back to a nebulous summer timeframe.
No word on why the need for a delay. The PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions are still planned to arrive on May 25.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. is confirming that DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED for Nintendo Switch™, as well as the Solaire amiibo™, will be moving from their original May 25, 2018 release date to later this summer. The new release timing gives the development team the time needed to make sure Nintendo Switch players can fully appreciate the true DARK SOULS experience anytime and anywhere, thanks to the unique portable nature of the Nintendo Switch console.
The PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One, and STEAM® versions of DARK SOULS: REMASTERED will be released on May 25, 2018.
