New Octopath Traveler Demo Let’s You Bring Save Data To Final Game
Octopath Traveler is fast approaching its July 13, 2018 release date. Square Enix has put in some extra work to create a brand new demo to play on the Nintendo Switch. This time around your save data from the demo will carry over to the final retail game. The demo is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop as a free download.
This is an expanded demo that allows you to play the first chapter of each of the adventurers. In other words, this one will be much longer than the original demo that released last year. However, the demo will have a 3 hour time limit, so don’t dilly-dally! It’s a bit odd that a demo will have a time limit, but I suppose they don’t want gamers to get their fill with the demo and skip the retail release. The final game is said to take up to 50-60 hours for the main story and 80-100 hours if you complete all of the sub-stories. I’ve already got mine pre-ordered!
