Blast Man Explodes Onto The Scene In Mega Man 11
It’s been a long time since we’ve received a brand new Mega Man game. Mega Man 11 is slated for October 2 and will be available for $29.99 on the Nintendo Switch. Today we got a look at a brand new robot master: Blast Man. If you’ve been following the game’s development, you’ll already be familiar with the first two reveals: Fuse Man and Block Man.
Blast Man’s stage takes place in the ruined remains of a theme park/movie studio. Making your way through the twisted stage won’t be easy with plenty of new and familiar foes facing you down. In fact, this level features a mid-boss where Mega Man will have to take down a couple of rogue roller coaster rockets. When you finally arrive in Blast Man’s lair you’ll have to memorize his attack patterns to avoid being blown to smithereens. If you’re successful you’ll gain the Chain Blast weapon, allowing you to stick bombs to enemies and chain them together for a massive blast.
Two other modes are shown off in this stage as well! In Time Attack you’ll try to complete the level as quickly as possible to rank on the leaderboards. Balloon Attack removes all of the enemies in the stage and replaces them with balloons. Your goal is to pop the blue balloons as quickly as possible and avoid the red ones. Good luck with that!
