Classic Sonic Ad Recreated For Sonic Mania Plus
If you grew up during the ’90s it was almost impossible to escape the marketing of Sega. They had it out for Nintendo and showcased dozens of commercials and print ads making Nintendo look as uncool as possible. One of the early ones showed a sleazy salesman trying to get a kid to buy a Super Nintendo and Super Mario World, but the kid wasn’t having any of that! He wanted the cheaper Genesis with Sonic. Below are the original and revamped ads – this time featuring Sonic Mania Plus, which launches tomorrow on Switch for $29.99!
