Hexologic’s Free Update In September Brings Over 40 New Puzzles

Hexologic was a very nice surprise last month on the Nintendo Switch. The puzzle game is unique and fun and in some ways soothing to play. It works well on the TV and on the go with touchscreen functionality. The only major gripe I had (read the full review here) was that it was a bit on the short side. That’s about to be fixed with a free update in September featuring another 40 puzzles. How awesome is that?

The studio is working on a huge content update, that will be released soon on all supported platforms and now you can grab it with 30% discount on Steam!
Hexologic is a deep dive into the world of hex-based puzzles – a creative reinvention of the whole riddle genre. It features an artful design, relaxing ambient music and proves to be a challenge, even to the most experienced fans of Sudoku and Picross. Thoughfuly designed gameplay introduces new, more complex mechanics as we explore new worlds – biomes. MythicOwl’s next update will introduce 2 new biomes, over 40 new levels, gameplay features and will be out early September!

Starting today all PC gamers that haven’t had the chance to try out the game yet, can get it from Green Man Gaming store ( with a 30% discount. The promotion lasts until August 2nd, so make sure to get your copy and start putting these clever tiles in order before the planned big update comes!

And if you’re still considering the game’s purchase and need a little bit of a proof it’s worth your money, it’s probably worth to mention, that MythicOwl’s latest creation received lots of praise not only from press, but also platform holders and was featured as the ‘Game of the Day’ in 144 countries across the App Store and is also now featured in Google Play’s ‘Indie Corner’ as one of the most innovative new indie games available!

The game is an easy-to-learn and highly-addictive logic puzzle game. Based on hexagonal grids, Hexologic reinvents the rules of sudoku. Combining the dots and hexagons will be a rewarding experience for both puzzle game veterans and newcomers alike. Simple gameplay mechanics adorned with beautiful graphic design, relaxing music, and challenging-yet-conquerable puzzles will guarantee many hours of fun for gamers of all ages.

● Relaxation – putting your mind at ease in the immersive atmosphere
● Four completely different game worlds, each with unique gameplay mechanics
● 75 levels designed down to the smallest detail
● Well-balanced puzzles
● An atmospheric soundtrack accentuating the game’s ambience
