Octopath Traveler Sells Over 1 Million Copies
Octopath Traveler is selling quite well for the Nintendo Switch. Having launched just three weeks ago on July 13, the game has already racked up over 1 million sold. Not too shabby for a retro-looking throwback turn-based RPG that’s a new IP to boot! I couldn’t be happier to see it doing so well, as it’s an excellent game (read review here) that everyone should check out. Congratulations to Square Enix, Acquire, and Nintendo for a job well done. I wonder if we’ll see a sequel?
Thank you to all the travelers out there who have helped #OctopathTraveler for #NintendoSwitch journey to 1 million units sold globally so far! https://t.co/Z3i5bApX25 pic.twitter.com/ttroO9x1pA
