The Creators Of Ninja Gaiden Play The Messenger

The Messenger arrives this Thursday for the Nintendo Switch. It definitely takes inspiration from Ninja Gaiden on the NES and it caught the eyes of Hideo Yoshizawa (director/producer of Ninja Gaiden) and Keiji Yamagishi (composer of Ninja Gaiden). It’s cool to see these original developers play a game inspired by their’s, which came out almost 30 years ago. Interestingly we find out that Nintendo wanted them to put in an underwater stage!
