So if I buy these new nes switch controllers as a gift for my son w his membership info, will he be notified/made aware of the purchase? How can I keep it a surprise?
Nintendo does e-mail the account holder that’s associated with the Nintendo Account with a confirmation number. If that e-mail is you, then he shouldn’t be notified. However, if it’s his e-mail on file then I don’t believe there’s any way around him being notified. You could check in with Nintendo’s customer support at 1-800-255-3700 to see if there is a way to keep it a surprise.
