Nintendo Switch & 3DS Total System Sales & Million-Sellers
Nintendo has updated the total number of systems sold and the software that has sold over 1 million copies. The Switch now has an install base of 22.86 million systems and has sold over 111 million pieces of software. For comparison, the entire lifetime sales of the Wii U were 13.56 million systems and 102.53 million games. The Switch has trounced both in a year and a half on the market. 3DS has sold 73.53 million systems with 371.16 million games sold!
Of course as the install base grows, so do the sales of evergreen titles, like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has finally broken the 10 million sold mark! Check out the million-plus sellers below:
