Switch Announcements: Viviette, Neo Atlas 1469, Lapis x Labyrinth & More

More games are being announced for Switch every single day it seems! Here’s some of the ones we’ve come across:

Viviette

OFFICIAL PR:

AN IMMERSIVE EXPLORATION-HORROR EXPERIENCE!

Your mind is foggy… Confused… You wake to find yourself in a hospital bed. Something happened… Something at Neuville Mansion that affected you and your friends… You must remember!

Diving into the murky and muddled memories of your past as you are sucked into an immersive exploration-horror experience. Unravel the mysteries and forgotten events of a place haunted and consumed by secrets, as you find mysterious documents that only hint at its tragic and macabre past…

There is No Map and No Help. Just you, your alchemical lamp… and… “something” else…

THE “MONSTER”

With interconnected systems that provide multiple layers of depth and challenge to your gameplay experience, the “Monster” can appear anywhere, and at anytime. Yes, you can try to run… but for how long? Will you switch off your lamp and use the shadows and natural light to your advantage? Or will you cling to your torch’s embers to fend off the darkness? Will “It” detect you if you stand but an inch away in total stillness? You hear its footsteps approach… What will you do?!

CHALLENGING PUZZLES

Facing challenging, ingenious, and unique puzzles with no obvious and simplistic answers, you will need to use all the clues the environment provides to find the hidden answer. Do not give up! In adversity, you shall persevere!

ITEMS AND INVENTORY

Find and use a diverse and creative assortment of items in order to progress through the adventure. A well designed inventory keeps your belongings carefully sorted and provides descriptions that, in some cases, even hide clues…

MULTIPLE ENDINGS

Completing this game can offer one of three different endings.

The ‘best’ one, the “GOOD” ending, is not the norm – it is the exception. It is a reward for players who think differently, explore every shadow and mystery, and for those who have the guile and wit to achieve it… Good luck!

ORIGINAL AND BREATHTAKING AUDIO-VISUALS

This 100% originally designed adventure is presented with high quality 16-bit pixel art visuals. A labor of love created by a single artist, there is a fully unique and explorable mansion – With no two rooms the same and each individually designed with its own identity.

Every pixel, every detail, every crack in the wall has been intentionally placed and designed by hand meticulously to tell players a story using no words. Our outstanding 90’s visuals are enhanced by lighting effects, disturbing 3D positional audio, and a completely original atmospheric soundtrack.

Pipe Push Paradise

OFFICIAL PR:

Indie publisher Digerati is delighted to announce unique puzzle game Pipe Push Paradise will be arriving this winter for Nintendo Switch. The game will be available to download for Nintendo Switch from 24 December and will launch with a 20% discount for a limited time.

Developed by Corey Martin in early 2018, Pipe Push Paradise offers an open-world island in dire need of your plumbing talents. As you help the quirky residents, Pipe Push Paradise’s puzzles offer brain-twisting challenges through limited space, varied pipe designs, and other mechanics.

IndieGames notes that the game’s “colorful aesthetic belies a fiendishly tricky design”, while PC Gamer describes it as a “Stephen’s Sausage Roll-like” with levels that often provide either a “infuriating problem to counter” or “an elegant solution” to uncover.

About the game
Pipe Push Paradise is a challenging, plumbing-based puzzle game. You’ve arrived on a lonely island faced with a hero’s calling. Rise to the occasion (push pipes around) and restore this paradise to its former glory.

Catastronauts

OFFICIAL PR:

Inertia Games Studios is thrilled to announce that its lauded interstellar party game, Catastronauts, will be available on Nintendo Switch from 24th December, just in time for families across Europe to lovingly work together to survive in space, or take out their frustrations one another on Christmas day.

Catastronauts is a fast-paced, chaotic couch co-op experience that sees 1-4 players assume the role of an intergalactic starfleet locked in an epic battle with an invading enemy vessel and unrelenting disaster.

Players need to keep their craft together by putting out fires, repairing systems and loading and firing space cannons, much of which can only be done by working as a team. Naturally these hilarious, high-octane hijinks come with added elements of danger – if players aren’t careful they or their unfortunate compatriots can be blown up by bombs, burned up by solar flares or sucked out into space.

Hitting the European Nintendo Switch eShop just in time for presents to be unwrapped, Catastronauts provides the perfect opportunity for families to come together at Christmas, and perhaps swiftly fall apart, in the ultimate couch co-op party game.

Meanwhile the North American Nintendo Switch eShop will carry the game from January 3rd, an excellent remedy to the dark days of winter.
