Nintendo Switch Officially Outsells The N64 LTD
Today Nintendo shared updated sales for its gaming hardware. The Switch has now sold 34.74 million units as of March 31, 2019. It had already surpassed the Wii U and GameCube lifetime sell-in, but it has now sold more than the N64 install base of 32.93 million. Next up on the list is the Super Nintendo, which sits at 49.10 million lifetime sold. If Nintendo’s forecast of 18 million Switch sold in the next 12 months holds true, we should see that record broken later this year.
