Pokémon Twitter Announces 24-Hour Live Stream For Next Friday

Today on Twitter the official Pokémon account announced that next Friday, October 4th, there will be a 24-hour live stream event that will focus on Glimwood Tangle, a new forest area in the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield games.

Bizarrely, the official Nintendo of America account replied asking what the stream will entail but to no such luck. Fans of the mega popular franchise, and apparently Nintendo itself, will have to tune in next week to see what all the fuss is about.

Here’s the official statement from the Pokémon website:

“Starting at 6:00 a.m. PDT on Friday, October 4, we will broadcast live footage for 24 hours from a camera set up in Glimwood Tangle—a strange forest located deep within the Galar region.

This is your chance to get to know the various Pokémon that make their home in this forest! You may notice things that surprise you!”

Pokémon Sword and Shield are the latest games in the long running series introducing new creatures, battle mechanics, and open world like game play. Fans can explore all the Galar region has to offer when the games launch on November 15th exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
