Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch Releases On March 13
Nintendo is no stranger to announcing new products via Twitter. Case in point: the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch! This special edition will release on March 13, 2020 for $299.99 at participating retailers. As of this writing Best Buy had begun taking reservations.
This Switch has a custom design on the back as well as two unique Joy-Con colors that even come with matching straps! The Switch dock is especially awesome with the Nooks planting a flag on an island. No doubt this system will become a collector’s item, much like everything else Nintendo, so if you want one you’d best try to secure a pre-order somewhere! Releasing alongside the special edition Switch is an Animal Crossing carrying case with screen protector (sold separately).
The game releases separately on March 20, 2020. We can’t wait!

Start saving those bells! On March 13, a special edition Animal Crossing themed Nintendo Switch system will be available in stores at a suggested retail price of $299.99. The system takes design inspiration from the new game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons (sold separately), with lovely pastel green and blue Joy-Con controllers that are white on the back, white wrist straps and a white Nintendo Switch dock, adorned with images of recognizable characters Tom Nook and Nooklings Timmy and Tommy.
Prospective island residents that want to pre-order the system can do so at select retailers soon. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons game launches for Nintendo Switch on March 20 at a suggested retail price of $59.99.
