Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Rated By ESRB
Last September Nintendo surprised everyone when they showed off a trailer for a remaster of the Wii JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles for the Switch. The initial reveal showed off a 2020 release date with no further information. We’re still waiting on official word from Nintendo as to when to expect this one to come out, but there have been signs that point to a spring release.
A few European sites have listed Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition as coming out this spring. May 29 seems to be the magic date they’ve selected. Then last week the game was rated in South Korea, which had some speculating a spring release was indeed in the works. Now we have the ESRB rating the game (receiving a Teen rating) today, which usually means the game is finished or near finished. It definitely does appear we might be playing it sooner than later, which would be awesome if true.
Actually, a May date would be almost perfect for many of us multi-console owners since March and April will be filled with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Doom Eternal, Resident Evil 3, and Final Fantasy VII Remake. Hopefully we will know more soon!
