Nintendo Of America Donates Over 9500 N95 Masks
If you’ve watched the news anytime in the past few weeks you’ll no doubt know that personal protective equipment is at an all-time shortage across the nation. The COVID-19 virus has rampaged many communities and it’s difficult for first responders and healthcare professionals to adequately protect themselves against possible infection.
Nintendo has generously donated over 9,500 N95 respirator masks to Eastside Fire & Rescue so they can distribute them where they are needed most. Located in North Bend, Washington, the nearby cities and communities have been hit especially hard the past few weeks. Nintendo had stockpiled the masks for emergency preparedness planning, but has recognized they are needed elsewhere to help mitigate this worldwide pandemic.
