4 Classics Come To Switch Online On September 23
Nintendo has announced that four more classic games are coming to the Switch Online service on September 23, 2020. I’m most excited for Mario’s Super Picross, a game that never released for the Super NES in the U.S. – until now! As a big fan of Picross games this one will definitely be played from beginning to end. It looks a lot like the Game Boy version, but with much better graphics.
Of course, it’s also very exciting to see Donkey Kong Country 2 make the cut. This is an amazing game with a stellar soundtrack and although it’s a bit on the difficult side it should be fun to play co-op online with a friend. I’ve heard good things about S.C.A.T. as well, so NES players should get a kick out of that one, especially Contra fans. I had never really heard of The Peace Keepers before, but it might be a fun brawler.
Remember that a Switch Online membership is required to play these, and over 80 more classic games. It’s $20 a year and the value proposition just keeps getting better as the library grows.
